2019 Livingston Hoot
Livingston Hoot seeking community sponsors, volunteers, vendors and non profit organizations
The Livingston Hoot – a one day free family friendly festival bringing fun, food and music to historic downtown Livingston takes place on August 8th from 4 -10 PM.
“This is our fourth year,” said John Lowell, with Mighty Fine Time -co producer of the Hoot (with partner Joanne Gardner Lowell). “We are committed to maintaining the family friendly community flavor of this event – last year we had a huge increase in the crowd and think it will settle down a bit this year. We can use volunteers at the children’s area, the vendor and non-profit areas, and just general help. We’re also ready to talk with local vendors and local non profits about participating.”
“This event continues to get better because of all the local support,” continued Lowell. “We’re so glad the International Federation of Fly Fishers will be back with us this year. This is something that we’re hearing people look forward to each year. Our fiscal sponsor -the Park County Community Foundation – is again on board to enable donations to be tax deductible.”
There are three sponsor levels for community businesses that want to promote their businesses at the popular Hoot.
“Keeping the Hoot free is important to us, but of course we have to raise a lot of funds,” added Joanne Gardner. “We’ve had amazing support from so many restaurants and businesses in the community and if you’d like to help us reach our goal, please call us – we’ve got room for you!”
Community businesses, individuals and grants underwrite the Hoot. Top tier sponsors will have their logos on the stage and poster, have a special priority seating area and admission to a pre Hoot VIP party/auction.
